Our Street/Strip D.U.I. Distributors are custom-calibrated for your particular application. Every
unit is curved on a distributor machine, blueprinted and precision built. All of the OEM and
aftermarket manufacturers make distributors on a mass production basis, so at best, your
vehicle has a middle-ground, compromise curve. At Performance Distributors we take all
of your engine's specifications into consideration in order to provide you with the optimum
advance curve. A super smooth curve will eliminate engine damaging detonation and give
you the most efficient combustion possible. Light throttle ping is eliminated by the use of our
special vacuum advances, factory calibrated just for your application. An adjustable vacuum
advance will not be needed!
Our D.U.I.'s are superior to point type units because they are virtually maintenance free, can
handle more voltage and last much longer. They are also better and more practical than magnetos.
Our D.U.I. distributors send twice as much fire into the combustion chambers than a magneto
because they allow twice as big a plug gap to be run. Spark plugs stay cleaner longer. This is
a true "blueprinted" ignition system using only brand new parts. All of the moving parts in the
advance system are hand-fitted to assure the smoothest advance curve possible. The distributor
caps are offered in blue, red, yellow, clear or black and have solid brass terminals and contain
the D.U.I. coil. The Dyna-Module, which has more electronic dwell in it over a stock module, is
also included. Most roller cam applications require a bronze gear which is additional. This unit
can be used with most street blowers with room to spare.

will compliment the DUI like french fries to a hamburger! LiveWires come with space age,
heat resistant sleeving to provide protection from exhaust heat. The sleeving is heat
treated glass braid and is non-flammable and non-corrosive to chemicals. LiveWires are
custom fit - no assembly is required. Each wire is numbered at each end for the correct
cylinder. LiveWires have a durable and long lasting silicone jacket and insulation. Spiral
wound core prevents electronic interference - no radio noise or computer interference.

The Bronze Distributor Gear is recommended for most roller cam applications. Consult your
cam manufacturer or cam card to find out exactly if your cam requires the bronze distributor
gear. Made of a higher quality bronze than other manufacturers, this gear is designed for
endurance and performance.

Protect your engine from over revving with the DUI Rev Limiter. The D.U.I. Rev Limiter drops one
cylinder at a time very smoothly. This prevents fuel from loading up on the plugs. This also avoids
backfires and engine damage. Set your RPM limit with plug-in modules. A 6000, 7000 and 8000
RPM module is included with the rev limiter. Other RPM increment modules are available separately
if needed. This unit works great with all of our DUI distributors.
